Short CV
In 2009, I graduated from Gimnazija Celje-Center and enrolled at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2012. My bachelor’s theses were titled Fauna of Pekel Cave and Sampling Methodology of the Green-Winged Orchid (Orchis morio) in Goričko. I continued my master’s studies in biology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and completed my degree in 2018 with a thesis titled Comparison of Mouthparts in Selected Surface and Subterranean Beetles (Leiodidae: Cholevinae). During my studies, I gained and enhanced general knowledge in chemistry, physics, and mathematics, as well as specialized knowledge in areas such as cell biology, plant biology and biotechnology, biomedicine, diagnostic procedures, and laboratory work. Since October 2018, I have been a student of the BioSciences program, specializing in Biotechnology, at the Biotechnical Faculty. I am employed as a assistant at the Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing, where I focus on plant biotechnology in the field of plant protection.
