Short CV
Before graduating, he gained extensive practical and theoretical knowledge in soil science and environmental protection through work at the Chair of Pedology and Environmental Protection, Department of Agronomy. During this period, he participated in the soil mapping of Slovenia. He further expanded his experience after joining the Institute of Hop Research and Brewing of Slovenia, where he contributed to the establishment of an experimental demonstration center for irrigation. At the center, he was involved in numerous irrigation and fertigation experiments on vegetables, as well as research on subsurface drip irrigation of hops.Later, he specialized in geospatial informatics, providing professional support to the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector and Plant Protection in this field. At the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia, in addition to geospatial informatics for plant protection, he worked on remote sensing applications, including the analysis of satellite imagery, hyperspectral imaging, and multispectral imagery acquired using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
