Work experience:

2001 – 2004: Her professional and research work primarily focused on the field of hop breeding, hop gene bank management, and hop introduction.

2004 – 2009: Her role pertained to the field of integrated agricultural production control, with a specific focus on the organization of implementation and subsequent monitoring of such systems.

2007 – today: Her current responsibilities encompass several key areas, including the coordination of testing procedures for hop varieties and ornamental plants, participation in plant breeding for the purpose of advancing the basic genetic material of hops in vivo, and professional management of the cultivation of certified hop seedlings. Furthermore, she actively participates in various projects related to her work in this field.

Short CV:

In 1997, Monika Oset Luskar commenced her studies in agronomy at the Faculty of Agriculture at Maribor University, and completed her degree in 2000. She has been a member of the IHPS team since 2001. Between 2004 and 2009, she gained professional experience in the field of integrated agricultural production control, which included overseeing the organization of implementation and subsequent monitoring of such systems. Since 2007, she has taken on the role of coordinating testing procedures for hop and ornamental plants varieties, as well as growing basic genetic material of hops in vivo. Additionally, she holds the position of responsible party for the supplier IHPS in charge of hop planting material, which entails managing production technology, and care for plant health. She is actively involved in various research projects within the public service for hops, the public services gene bank of hops and horticulture, and others. She is a member of the research group dedicated to the cultivation of new hop varieties. She has successfully completed a professional exam in administrative procedure and training, and is licensed to serve as a mentor for the implementation of practical training. Additionally, she has been certified to verify and certify the national professional qualification for Farmers and Hop growers.
